Personal stylists have long been helping create the wardrobes and outfits of the fashionable elite — celebrities such as the Kardashians, Lady Gaga, Ryan Gosling, and Nicole Kidman all have personal stylists.

But now, personalized style is available to teens at affordable prices — through their peers, because of the internet.

On the beloved thrifting app Depop, many Gen Zers will create personalized style bundles for customers.

Famous Depop-er Bella McFadden, known as Internet Girl or “iGirl,” played a huge role in popularizing these style bundles. As The New York Times reports, “For $150 plus shipping, [her] fans can name a visual theme or inspiration, send over their body measurements and astrological sign, and receive two to three outfits customized to their specifications, with matching accessories.”

McFadden is famous for the unique style of her bundles — Y2K, goth, vintage, girly, and punk are some aesthetics/themes she is known for. Most of the items she includes are thrift-store finds or her original designs.
